CES Journal Blog Writers' Volunteerful Spot
We are calling for authors of blog posts for our considered blog.
The goal for the blog is to be a bit meta, a bit funny, a bit backbiting, a mix of fresh and sweet and inspired and pointed.
We know from spending time with you in Toronto, Chicago and Riverside that you are smart, delightful and hilarious. You've got a way with words and we want you to come this way with them.
Taking place in three parts, our next topic series will be a set of visual projects asking authors to reflect on how one engages/resists/imagines the spaces and places around them. Volunteer for one of our sub-topics below or suggest your own.
Part 1 -- Settler Landscapes
Part 2 -- Built by Whose Hands
Part 3 -- Imagining New Worlds
We welcome a broad interpretation of these topics but ask that your post wrestles with material and conceptual spatializations of difference. Authors are encouraged to write and visualize creatively, try on new ideas, and work with new (to you) works.
We'll be in touch to ask you to craft posts on one or more topics. Posts will be anywhere from 800-1,200 words, and we'll plan a due date with you.
